Hav Hub has one organizing principle: the dog comes first. Everything else follows from it.
Be good to dogs
- Never bring a sick or contagious dog to a group walk.
- Respect other dogs' space, energy, and limits; not every dog wants to play.
- Represent your dog honestly — temperament, vaccination, behavior.
- Report animal abuse to local authorities first, then to us.
Be good to people
- No harassment, hate, or threats — one report can end your account.
- No romantic advances that weren't invited; this is not a dating app.
- Contact requests mean maybe; a decline means no.
- Photos of other people require their OK.
Be honest on the map
- Create walks you intend to attend, at real public meeting points.
- Don't fake your location or presence.
- No commercial pins, spam, or advertising without our agreement.
Enforcement
We use a simple ladder: warn → suspend → delete.
| Step | What happens |
|---|
| Warn | A notice on your account; further violations escalate faster. |
| Suspend | You cannot sign in or use the app until we lift the suspension. |
| Delete | Your account and all attached data are permanently removed (same scope as Data deletion: profile, dogs, photos, presence, walks, contacts, messages). |
Serious violations (abuse, threats, endangering dogs) may skip straight to suspend or delete. You can appeal by replying to the enforcement notice.
Reporting and photo moderation
Use Report on a profile, dog, or message in the app. Reports go to our operator review queue.
- Reported dog photos are hidden immediately while we review (reactive takedown).
- Operator review SLA: we review and act on reports within 48 hours.
- Until resolved, reported content stays hidden where applicable.
